Joe Mescan was born and raised in Cleveland, Ohio in 1945. His family moved to Columbia Station, Ohio in 1961. Joe graduated from Columbia High School in 1963 and worked in a factory with his father.In 1965 Joe Joined the United States Army and became an Airborne Paratrooper.
In 1967 Joe went to Vietnam and served 1 year in the Jungle as a Combat Medic with the 173 rd . Airborne Brigade. See the book Dak To by Edward Murphy Upon returning home in 1968 he became a laborer for bricklayers, then eventually became a bricklayer, realtor, auctioneer and started a pond aeration business. On Nov 28th 1970 Joe married the love of his life Janet Lynn Rundle. They have 4 children Susan, Scott, Keith & Tammy. To date Joe has been in the Pond Aeration Windmill Business for 39+ years. Joe Mescan Windmill LLC is run by Joe, his son Keith and Grandson Braidon. Joe is never happy until his customers are happy.

As Director of Operations for Joe Mescan Windmill LLC, Keith Mescan oversees virtually every aspect of the company’s daily operations. In a role that spans manufacturing, customer service, marketing, and business management, Keith is responsible for taking a product from concept to customer while ensuring the highest standards of quality and support.

Keith personally assembles and tests windmill pond aerators, manages inventory, processes and ships orders, provides technical support, assists customers with product selection, and oversees sales. Beyond production, he designs and maintains the company website, manages SEO, creates YouTube videos and digital marketing campaigns, develops product manuals and educational content, and continuously works on new product development and process improvements.

Whether answering customer questions, building windmills, packing shipments, updating the website, filming videos, or planning future innovations, Keith is involved in nearly every function of the business. His hands-on approach ensures that customers receive knowledgeable service, dependable products, and an exceptional ownership experience.

In short: Keith wears nearly every hat within the organization—serving as assembler, technician, salesman, shipper, marketer, web designer, content creator, and operations manager. His broad expertise and dedication help drive the continued growth and success of Joe Mescan Windmill LLC.
